Brief introduction:

Idler roller is the key component of belt conveyor. It is distributed along the total length of the conveyor with a great quantity.

 

 

 

Production standard of troughing idler roller:

  • Axial float: Under the impact of axial load of 500N,the axial float figure≤1.2mm;
     
  • Dropping intensity: 
    All components and welded joints cannot be damaged or taken apart;
    Axial displacement of roller carrier after falling should be not more than1.2mm;
    The body and bearing of carrier roller should never be loosing;

     
  • Sealability in water:
    After revolving at the rate of 1450t/min for 24 hours in water,the water inflow of the carrier roller with non-contact seal device is not more than150g.

     
  • Life span:Service life span is no less than 30000h.The damage rate of carrier roller is no larger than 10%.

Range of application
Our product is widely used in such surrounding as underground coal mine and that with severe open-air dust and high corrosivity.

These places include mines,power plants,steel mills,stone factory,cement plant,coking plant,coal washing plant,saltworks,soda ash factory,chemical fertilizer plant and wharfs.

 

 

 

Detail description:

1. Processing of idler shell

  • Idler shell adopts special tube used material.The shell is CNC cut on steel tube chamfering cutting-off lathe.The length of the shell is uniform.
     
  • Steel tube double-end boring lathe is used to accomplish double-end high-precision boring, so that 0.01 mm coaxiality requirement to the holes at both ends of bearing can be met.
     
  • To ensure idler shell assembly precision and better surface quality, we use self-developed burr remover to wipe off all burr and iron pin after finishing boring.

 

 

2.Processing of idler shaft

  • The round bar steel of 45# , which is two times higher in strength than Q235 cold drawn steel used by other companies, strengthening the mechanical property of the shaft greatly.
     
  • The process from material selection to center hole drilling on end face milling and centre-hole drilling lathe, keeps the length tolerance of shaft within 0.05 mm.
     
  • External grinding and notching process on CNC lathe machine.Shaft excircle grinding on high speed grinder, to make sure the shaft both ends 0.01mm coaxiality & finish degree requirement.
     
  • Orientation notch processed on special dual-ends milling machine.

 


3.Bearing host

  • Bearing host is punch forming by heavy duty pressing machine.
     
  • Orientation edge processed on CNC lathe machine,ensure the host working precision & each components uniformity,secure the idler shell forming accuracy.  

 


4. Idler bearing

  • Idler bearing is coming from SKF or equal brand products.
     
  • Lubrication grease used on bearing & seals is coming from Mobil lithium lubricating grease, as per international standard.

 


5. Welding of bearing host & idler shell

  • Bearing host & idler shell automated welding on dual head CO2 auto welding machine.
     
  • Weld seam strength & idler shell air tightness is guaranteed.
     
  • Random sample air tightness test would be made on special testing equipment in order to test the welding quality.   

 


6. Bearing installation

  • Bearing installed on idler press machine, ensure the coaxiality of installed bearing within 0.02mm.

 


7.Structure

  • Using contact type tighten seal structure, anti-dust,water proof, anti-leakage with excellent performance.
     
  • Using low temperature seals & lubrication grease which tested in low temperature surrounding, make sure the using life in cold condition,suitable for low temperature area.
